RCN Laacher See is on the Laacher See crater lake in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel conservation area. The volcanic crater is a terrific place to enjoy swimming, kayaking and exploring by boat in summer. Many also have a …view of the crater lake. The camping site is in a sunny location, but the trees and bushes offer shade where needed. The camping site offers the opportunity to experience nature, combing woodland and the recreation lake.
